Well, well, well, first post in a while. Some new things to report.
Most everyone knows I'm doing a revamp (no pun intended) of Blood and the art of Baking, my first comic. And here's a piece I was trying to finish as a post card for Ape which I'm going to in San Fran this weekend.

I wanted to color it and may try and do that tomorrow, or tonight if I still can't sleep. Oh insomnia, you are my best way to get work done :P
Anyway, come see Vanessa, Becky, Risa, Robin, and I ate Ape if you're going to swing by! I can't wait to see San fran!
Macbeth and my Dad made the Times this past week. Seems the school system thought he was making money from displaying my book in his library some how. But he's happy he made his favorite newspaper, he writes letters to them all the time. Anyway, for the full story google it, or I think it's on newsorama (I'm too tired to provide linkage)
Now, my last bit of info is to recommend 'Let the Right One In'! It's an awesome movie, check out the trailer. And I say this not just as a vampire fan I assure you :P
Now off to bed... see ya!
Here's the link to the article about my dad-

Just cause I'm surfing the net tonight I came across this bunny video-
And this was sent to a coworker of mine. It's about a woman who runs a sanctuary for cats on 6 acres of land. I think she has over 500 cats and many dogs as well. It's all indoor out door and supported entirely on donations! pretty cool!
Also it must be said you should all see Doctor Horrible's sing along blog! It's pretty damn cool! www.drhorrible.com
And on another note, I got a new job!!! YAY~!

I was talking to Vanessa and somehow the conversation came around to Krypto the Super Dog. And she told me that he wasn't the only super animal! Aparently the world has need of a Super Horse named Comet and a Super Monkey named Beppo. There's also a Super Cat named Streaky (which kind of makes me think of awesome marks he may leave on the carpet).
I think Beppo got the least publicity, while Krypto even had his own cartoon show at one time (which Streaky also appeared in). Comet also didn't get much publicity, but hey he had telepathy and could turn into a man whenever a comet passed by! Who knew?

Sooo... I'm fostering three rats for a rescuer. They're pretty timid but good guys who's names are Nicodemus, Justin, and Jenner. They're all jumbo albino rats and were going to be used as snake food apparently. Must have been a HUUUUGE snake to get these guys down. Someone's got an anaconda in Brooklyn, I just know it.
Anyway, here's some photos for you rat enthusiasts. And even if you don't like rats, see em anyway.

They're very intelligent and make great pets ^_^
Sooo... this weekend I'm signing at NY comic con, and you should come by and see me. I'll be at the Wiley booth from 4-5 on Friday signing copies of Macbeth. Then Hyendo will be signing Julius Cesar from 5-6. The following day Tin Tin (Hamlet) and Yali (Romeo and Juliette) will be signing as well as our editor, between the hours of 3-6. Also check for Vanessa and Ressa who will be signing at the friends of Lulu booth on Saterday. Check em all out!
Plus I started worked on Blood and the art of Baking yet again-

Not too far along but getting there. I can't wait to ink the next page.
I got a promotion @ work! Now I'm in charge and I rule with an iron fist over all! My new goal is get a cowboy hat and a sheriff's badge!

This made me crack up-
If you haven't seen the Tom Cruise Scientology video here it is, it's pretty long though just to give you a heads up. But if you make it to the end, he solutes a portrait of L. Ron Hubbard and laughs maniacally-

Lately I've had a lot of problems drawing. Mostly I've been working on Why Me? but I'd like to really do something more serious. Why Me?'s fun, but total silliness which I do in my spare time. I'd like to start something new.
I've been throwing around the idea of doing a comic about shelters and rescue groups, but I don't think I'm a good enough writer for that one. Plus it's so close to what I do now. Anyway, here's something I did a couple weeks ago.

I don't know if either of these kittens were named Maxwell (this was based on an old pic I took @ the shelter I work @) but I felt like naming him Maxwell ^_^. I'm still waiting for them to let me name a kitten Sparta! This way every time I show him I could say 'THIS IS SPARTA!!!'

Well, it's been a while. Not much to report hence why I haven't reported it. Thanksgiving went smoothly and tomorrow will me my company's Christmas party. Oooh, getting paid to bowl! Then Friday I'm seeing the opera 'A Masked Ball' with my father and his high school opera club (he's a high school librarian). I'll be sure to report back on that to all you opera fans out there. Oh, and I did my holiday shopping today! Whew! Went to Union Square with Vanessa and got a lot of people gifts taken care of! Yay!
I saw two great new movies! First off Enchanted, since I saw it first. When I fist saw the previews for this movie I was ready to write it off as a bad Disney flick. However I'm glad I didn't. The movie is saved by wonderful acting, script, and pacing. And best of all is Amy Adams in the lead role. The second film I saw was No Country For Old Men. I'd wanted to see it since it came out and I'm glad I finally got the chance. It was amazing, as is every Cohen Brothers movie I've seen yet. What really made the film for me was the character of the hit man, Sugar. A character you can't help but be fascinated with due to his completely psychotic nature.
'Dark Horrors 2' from Arcana is out with my short comic 'I Dare You'. It can be ordered through their website http://www.arcanacomics.com. Check it out! Here's a little sneak preview page-

Also, I'm finally reworking Blood and the art of Baking! I hear you lesbian baker fans cheer! Here's a little sneak peek of the new look-

I finally learned the ease of using tones. Oh my!
Oh, and here's a little preview from another horror short about a thing that clogs drains. I submitted this to a manga anthology so we'll see if it gets in or not. Horror's not everyone's cup of tea ^_^

That's it for now. Probably be back next month!

I bought a witch's hat for Elphie but I couldn't get her to wear it long. Then I put it on Sheba who was more accommodating. She wore it for 30 seconds maybe, but long enough for a pic!

Hey, looks like I haven't updated for a while and I'm sure you're all wondering what's new.
Macbeth's chugging along as per usual. It'll all be over in a little over a month I hope. I got a short story accepted to Dark Horrors 2, a horror anthology by Arcana Studios! Yay! I'm not sure when it's comming out but I'll keep you posted.
Most of my favorite cats, including DAVE, have been adopted from the shelter these past months. Now we're getting in a slew of adult cats, which is awsome, and we have over 30 kittens waiting to go up for adoption. I'm biding my time till I can name one Optimus Prime.
Vanessa and I have put together our short fantasy stories into one ultimate mini comic called 'Tales from the Forbidden Forest!' which you'll be able to see in person at SPX! So be there y'all!
And lastly I must tell you to go see the Simpson's Movie and Stardust! They were both pretty awsome :)

I finally desided Ichabod, my rabbit, needed a friend. For the past 4 months he's been stairing at the wall and living in his litter box. everytime I thought I'd made headway with him the next day it seems he'd go back to his old habbits. So, yesterday I got him a girlfriend. I took him to animal care and controle (where the crazy rabbit vollunteers rule) and tried bonding him with two female rabbits and a male. And since he got along well with the dwarf bunny I desided it would be her. I have a soft spot for dwarfs. Her name's Elphaba (it's the name of the wicked witch of the west from Wicked, which is an awsome read and show). And she's already freaked out Wendy my cat (which isn't hard, innanimate objects freak Wendy out). She's a lot more active than ichabod. They make an odd pair since she's so small and he's so big. I'll post pics when I can find my digital camera. Somewhere in here....
Anyway, I'm tired today, too much coffee late at night last night and i was up till 4 AM. Now onto work. Or procrastinate somemore. Something like that.
